The official TV anime site for The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration (Japanese title: “Kimi o Koi Suru Ki wa Nai” to Itta Jiki Kōshaku-sama ga Nazeka Dekiai Shitekimasu), based on the novel by author Kei Misawa and illustrated by Natsuki Mizuno, has announced two additional voice cast members. Both will portray the parents of the main character, Elsa, and her younger brother, Hannes.
- Daisuke Namikawa will voice Lucas, Elsa’s father.
- Mariko Koda will voice Sophia, Elsa’s mother.
Story
Elsa, the daughter of a fallen noblewoman, receives momentous news—a marriage proposal from Julius, a man of high standing and reputation. She suspects why a man of his rank would choose her, but after the wedding ceremony, Julius—who had always been cold and indifferent—undergoes a complete change of heart. He coldly tells her with an icy voice: “I have no intention of loving you.”

Manga and Broadcast Information
The manga adaptation began serialization on the BookLive digital platform in February 2021 under Flex Comix, with five volumes released as of March 13 of last year. An English-language version is also available on various digital platforms.
The TV anime is scheduled to air in July on TV Asahi and BS Asahi.
