The TV anime team of Granblu (ぐらんぶる) Season 3 has revealed a new key visual alongside the official announcement of the opening song, choosing May 24 — which reads as “5-2-4” (Go to Sea!) — as the day to drop this set of information.

The new key visual features all 7 main characters walking through a lush forest setting, with a polished, stylish aesthetic that stands apart from previous promotional art in a striking way.
Opening Song by FUNKY MONKEY BABYS
The opening song for Season 3 is “夏子 (Natsuko)”, a track by FUNKY MONKEY BABYS. The band commented:
“We were honored to be asked to sing the theme for the legendary anime Granblu. This song was written with the feeling of setting out on a journey while chasing the dreams and aspirations left behind in the hot summer of youth — whether it be friendship, romance, or even the bittersweet sting of something unresolved… ‘How much time do we have left together this season?’ May the summer of 2026 be a bright and beautiful time for everyone!”
Special Preview Screening with Voice Actor Talk Show
A special preview screening event with a voice actor talk show has also been announced for June 19 at Shinjuku Wald 9 cinema in Tokyo, with two sessions: 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Both sessions will screen episodes 1 and 2.
Voice actors appearing at both sessions include Uchida Yuma (as Kitahara Iori), Kimura Ryohei (as Imamura Kouhei), and Asumi Kana (as Yoshihara Mana). The 8:00 PM session will additionally feature Anzai Tomoko (as Kodegawa Chisa). All attendees will receive a B2-size commemorative poster. Lottery applications for the event open on May 29 at 10:00 AM.
Granblu Season 3 Synopsis
The new season follows Iori, a college student living above a diving shop in Izu, who has grown so accustomed to the wild culture of the dive club that it has become a part of him. This time around, Iori and his friends head to the forest to face new adventures in the next chapter of their youth.
Broadcast Information
Granblu Season 3 will begin airing in July 2026 on TOKYO MX, BS11, and MBS.
