TV anime 「花ざかりの君たちへ」(Hana-Kimi) Season 2 has released its latest promotional video, officially confirming its premiere date as July 1, 2026. The announcement also reveals that the band Omoinotake will perform both the opening and ending theme songs for this season.
About the Work
“花ざかりの君たちへ” is a shojo manga by Hisaya Nakajo (中条比紗也), serialized in the magazine “Hana to Yume” published by Hakusensha from Issue 20 of 1996 through Issue 18 of 2004. The story follows Ashiya Mizuki, a girl who disguises herself as a boy to transfer into an all-boys school in Japan, driven by her dream of meeting Sano Izumi, the high-jump athlete she admires. The first season of the TV anime aired from January through March 2026.

On May 23, a special livestream event titled “TV Anime 『花ざかりの君たちへ』Special Livestream — Seems Like You’re Going to Shugakuri!” was broadcast, featuring five voice cast members:
- Yamaane Aki (山根綺) — voicing Ashiya Mizuki
- Yashiro Taku (八代拓) — voicing Sano Izumi
- Umehara Yuichiro (梅原裕一郎) — voicing Namba Minami
- Kawashima Reiji (川島零士) — voicing Nakatsu Shizuki

During the event, a new PV featuring both Omoinotake theme songs was screened, alongside the official confirmation that Season 2 begins broadcasting on TOKYO MX and other channels from July 1, 2026.
