Well-known Japanese hip-hop group Home Made 家族 (Home Made Kazoku) announced via their official website on May 19, 2026 that they are ready to make music again. They will remain with their longtime label Ki/oon Music under Sony Music Labels.
The group had suspended all activities following their final concert, “The Last Live,” on December 29, 2016, before making their first public comeback announcement on April 19 of this year, confirming they will appear at multiple music events this summer. Their first event back is Kariya Urban Fes. 2026 To the Max on May 31.
About Home Made 家族
Home Made 家族 is a three-member group of peers, consisting of vocalists Micro and KURO, along with DJ U-ICHI. Both Micro and KURO have lived experience in the United States — Micro grew up in Kentucky, while KURO lived in Chicago until the age of 12.
All three met during their university years in Aichi Prefecture and formed the group in 2004, before making their major label debut under their current label on the same day — May 19 of that year. Together they released three self-produced albums between 2001 and 2004 before signing with Ki/oon Records Inc. (now Ki/oon Music), going on to release both singles and albums through the label ever since. Their most recent album was Laughin’ Road, released in February 2015, their 11th studio album.
