Fans of Ascendance of a Bookworm (本好きの下剋上), get ready. The special exhibition “Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke Exhibition” will open to visitors on the 5th floor of Namba Marui in Osaka from June 19-28, 2026.
About the Series
Ascendance of a Bookworm: I’ll Do Anything to Become a Librarian is a Biblia fantasy light novel series by Miya Kazuki, published by TO Books. It has entered the Hall of Fame of Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! and has surpassed 13 million copies in circulation, including e-books.
The new anime season, “Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke”, has been airing since April 2026, with Yoshiaki Iwasaki directing and WIT STUDIO (SPY x FAMILY, Attack on Titan Season 3, Shin Samurai Den YAIBA) handling animation production. The story follows Myne in another world without books, in the city of Ehrenfest, which is ruled by nobles with magical power. Amid schemes targeting the immense power within her, Myne chooses to live as Rozemyne, the adopted daughter of the archduke, in order to protect her beloved family and friends.

Bonuses and Prizes
Every visitor will receive one “Lesser Bus ticket” per admission. Visitors who purchase 3,000 yen or more, including tax, in event merchandise will receive one key visual clear card.
There will also be a special lottery for Epos card users in the merchandise area. For every 3,000 yen spent, visitors receive one lottery entry, up to 10 entries per receipt or 30,000 yen in purchases. Prizes include a Character Fine Board featuring new artwork of the Fesspiel Concert scene and a complete set of volume 3 cover cards.

The event merchandise booth will offer both new items and selected past goods, including foil-stamped postcards, mini sticker sets, diorama acrylic stands, and more.
