Level-5 and Aiming announced during the Inazuma Eleven: Grand Strategy Showcase on Friday that Inazuma Eleven: Cross will officially launch for download and play on iOS and Android on June 9. The game is free-to-play and includes in-game item purchases.
Players Take the Role of Coach, Not Player
What makes Inazuma Eleven: Cross different from previous entries is its simulation-style gameplay, where players act as a coach who manages and develops a soccer team instead of directly controlling individual characters. The game also features a new protagonist, Yō Shiosawa, along with an original story that has not been told before.
Japan National Team 2026 Project
The game also includes the Japan National Team 2026 Project, which will add special commemorative artwork and feature popular characters such as Mark Evans, Mamoru Endo in the Japanese version, and Jude Sharp, Yūto Kidō in the Japanese version, wearing Japan national team uniforms.
Victory Road Characters Cannot Be Transferred
For fans playing Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, the developers clarified that characters from that game cannot be transferred to Inazuma Eleven: Cross. Instead, they will be used in a future sequel.
Victory Road Gets New Update on June 11
Level-5 also announced that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will receive its fifth major free update, the “New Kick-Off” DLC, on June 11.
