The TV anime 「株式会社マジルミエ」(Kabushiki Gaisha Majirumie) Season 2 has officially released its first promotional video (PV), along with the announcement of two new voice actors for new characters: Higashiuchi Mariko cast as Kochikaya Hitomi, and Watanabe Sayumi cast as Akazaka Iroha.

PV Content and the Ending Song

The first PV gives a glimpse of the new challenges the company Majirumie must face, including scenes featuring the new characters and a “secret bloodline” — a new plot element not previously revealed. In addition, a preview of the ending theme “BooooM!!!” is included, performed by Houshou Marine, the popular VTuber from hololive.

New Characters and Voice Actors

Akazaka Iroha, the character voiced by Watanabe Sayumi, is the deputy director of a magical-technology research institute (魔法技術総合研究所) and also holds the position of head of the Magical Girls department there. She is a brilliant elite specializing in “Magical Physics.”

Kochikaya Hitomi, the Majirumie Magical Girl who was mentored by her seniors in Season 1, was originally voiced by Hanakana Yumiri; in Season 2 the baton has been passed to Higashiuchi Mariko.

Higashiuchi Mariko (Kochikaya Hitomi)

Kochikaya is someone who is very full and has a great sense of maturity — I can feel the inner strength and quiet confidence hidden behind her ever-smiling face. She has been through no small amount of conflict and setbacks. I want to convey every facet of Kochikaya Hitomi through a truly earnest performance.

Watanabe Sayumi (Akazaka Iroha)

The concept of a “professional Magical Girl” feels really fresh and new to me. Combined with the story of job-hunting and a start-up company, it made me feel like this is an anime unlike anything else out there. I intend to make Iroha look interesting and compelling in the eyes of everyone who watches.

Fairouz Ai (Zakuragi Kana)

I’m so happy to be voicing Kana again. I’ve always loved her courage, her vulnerability, and her diligence. This season will have even more fascinating new characters, and there may be revelations about the past hidden in the shadows. Stay tuned!

Houshou Marine (Ending Song)

Ahoy! I’m so honored to be in charge of the Season 2 ending theme! “BooooM!!!” is a song absolutely bursting with the energy of the characters in Majirumie. I hope everyone enjoys it over and over after watching each episode!

About 「株式会社マジルミエ」

The original work is by Iwata Setka and Aoki Yuu, telling a story set in a world where being a Magical Girl has become a profession. It follows Zakuragi Kana (voiced by Fairouz Ai), a new hire at the Majirumie company, as she gradually grows both as a salaryman and as a Magical Girl.
