The official anime TV website for The Drops of God (神の雫 / Kami no Shizuku), adapted from the manga by Tadashi Agi and Shu Okimoto, has announced new theme song information for the second half of the series. The dance and vocal unit SUPER★DRAGON will perform the second opening theme titled “Call Me Asap”, while singer-songwriter eill will perform the second ending theme titled “Every Summer”.
Voice Cast and Production Team
The anime features the following voice cast:

Director Kenji Itoso (previous works: Aquarion: Myth of Emotions, Santa Company) helms the series at studio Satelight in collaboration with YANCHESTER, with Yu Mitsuru serving as series supervisor and scriptwriter, Takehiro Suwa handling character design, and Eiichi Segawa (Battle Girls – Time Paradox, Ushio & Tora) overseeing music composition.
Broadcast and Streaming
The anime began airing in April and is scheduled to continue through mid-year. Crunchyroll is streaming the series simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast, covering North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS regions, including English subtitles.
About the Manga and Related Works
The original The Drops of God manga was written by the sibling duo Shin and Yuko Kibayashi under the pen name “Tadashi Agi,” with artwork by Okimoto, and was serialized in Kodansha’s Morning magazine from 2004. The first series concluded in June 2014 with 44 volumes, and a live-action adaptation aired in Japan in 2009.
There is also an internationally co-produced, multilingual live-action adaptation on Apple TV+ (now called Apple TV) that debuted in 2023, with its second season premiering on January 21 of this past year.
The sequel series titled Marriage: Kami no Shizuku Saishusho (Drops of God: Mariage) began serialization in May 2015 and concluded in October 2020. The duo then launched the sequel series Kami no Shizuku deuxième (Drops of God Second) in Morning magazine in September 2023, concluding in April 2024. Kodansha USA Publishing has already released both works digitally in English.
