The popular romantic comedy manga You Can’t Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! has officially announced via its X/Twitter account that the story will come to an end in just 3 more chapters.
About the Series
This manga follows the life of the hero, a high school boy who faces the ultimate headache, because both Shio and Akari, his childhood friends, attend the same school as him — and they are impossibly cute. Although the hero has special feelings for both of them, he is convinced that the girls only see him as a friend and keeps his true feelings to himself. Meanwhile, both girls secretly harbor feelings for him as well. This sweet and chaotic three-way love story is packed with passion and the determined effort of each character to open their heart.

The manga by Misu began serialization on Kodansha‘s Magazine Pocket website in March 2022. Most recently, on May 8, Kodansha released the compiled volume 20. The series is also available in English through Kodansha’s K MANGA service.
Anime Adaptation
The series received an anime adaptation, with the first episode airing on January 5. Crunchyroll has been streaming both subtitled and English-dubbed versions simultaneously with each broadcast.
