Good Smile Company announced on Friday that illustrator neco‘s Heavily Armed High School Girls (重兵装型女子高生) project will be adapted into a TV anime, with broadcast scheduled for 2027.

- Series Composition: Natsuko Takahashi, familiar from Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, My Love Story!!, and Love and Lies
- Production: Good Smile Film and Good Smile Company are producing the anime together
About the Project
neco’s Heavily Armed High School Girls project spans both illustrations and figures. The character appearing in the first promotional video and visuals is named Ichi.
neco’s Works
neco is an illustrator known for original character designs for major franchises such as Synduality: Noir and Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? In addition, neco’s manga Ore no Yubi de Midarero. Heiten-go no Salon, Ijiwaru ni Jirasarete served as the basis for the TV anime Crazy Over His Fingers.
