The TV anime 「Hell Mode ～やり込み好きのゲーマーは廃設定の異世界で無双する～」 2nd Season (Hell Mode Season 2) has officially announced that it will begin airing on July 3, 2026. The series also revealed its main PV, additional voice cast members, and the new season’s opening theme song.

Synopsis

Hell Mode follows Kenichi Tsukimi, a 35-year-old single man who is reincarnated in another world as a slave boy named Allen. He chooses to live in this new world on the highest difficulty setting, known as “Hell Mode,” and uses the rare special ability of Summoner to carve his path toward ultimate strength.

New Characters and Voice Cast

Season 2 introduces new characters and cast members:

• Doberg – Voiced by Taketora (武虎). A warrior who was born a slave but rose to become a legendary hero of the Latash Kingdom through his “Sword Saint” talent. He has devoted his entire life to battle and is firmly determined to wipe out the demon army.
• Theodosil – Voiced by Shinichiro Miki (三木眞一郎). The headmaster of the academy Allen and his friends attend. He is a member of the high elf royal family with no right of succession, but he is broad-minded and treats everyone equally regardless of class.

Taketora (Doberg)

It was so much fun! The idea of capping stats at the maximum is also very fresh, and it made me want to know how it would affect the story. As someone who likes games, I could keep imagining all kinds of possibilities (laughs). As for Doberg, although he is a man of few words, he has depth inside. I tried to search for what lies at his core in order to build the character. I hope everyone will cheer on this story of growth.

Shinichiro Miki (Theodosil)

I see this as a “rural coming-of-age epic.” Being given a role with such a high position made me excited and unable to stay still.

Main PV and Opening Theme

The main PV shows Allen, Krena, Dogora, Cecil, and new characters appearing in the 2nd Season as they arrive in the academy city of the Latash Kingdom. It includes meetings with new friends and the dungeon scenes fans have been waiting for. The video also previews the Season 2 opening theme song, 「○✕△□」, by Romanpa Marshmallow.

Man-Yui, the band’s vocalist, commented, “Allen chooses to live by his own Hell Mode without surrendering to fate. We expressed that feeling in this song with both power and gentleness. We cannot choose how we are born, but we can choose how we live. I hope this song adds color to everyone’s Hell Mode.”
