The original television anime Möbius Dust, produced by Doga Kobo, has announced its official broadcast date and revealed several new details at once: the main key visual, first main PV, additional cast members, and ending theme song. The series will begin airing on July 9, 2026 on TOKYO MX, BS Fuji, MBS, and other channels.
Main Key Visual and First Main PV
The newly revealed key visual brings together the main characters Araki, Stella, and Orca, along with the catchphrase “A miracle power, or the chains of fate–“. The first main PV shows brand-new footage and introduces more than 30 characters, including the group of people with special abilities known as Lams Carriers.
New Cast Members
The newly announced cast members are:
- Shusei, the eldest brother and leader of the group – voiced by Taito Ban (坂泰斗)
- Kai, a quiet young man with sharp intelligence – voiced by Aoi Ichikawa (市川蒼)
- Haruto, the group’s mood-maker and comic relief – voiced by Sohei Horigane (堀金蒼平)
- Kruse, a boy who looks like a young girl and is inexplicably obsessed with Araki – voiced by Satsumi Matsuda (松田颯水)
- Spica, Kruse’s twin sister – voiced by Shiori Mikami (三上枝織)
- Dr. Yuda, an expert in Lams research – voiced by Maki Kawase (河瀬茉希)
Previously announced cast members include Yuto Takenaka as Araki, Nene Hieda as Stella, and Haruka Sato as Orca.
Ending Theme
The ending theme is “Dilemma”, performed by Ai Tomioka (冨岡愛). The artist said she was inspired by the inner conflicts everyone has felt, whether involving one’s own identity in relation to others or the search for the right answer to what matters most. She said, “Life is a chain of hesitation,” and that is what she put into the song.
Origin of the Work
Möbius Dust originated from Project ANIMA, a creative competition for original anime ideas. It won the grand prize in the “Kids Game Anime” category, for which Doga Kobo had been designated in advance as the production studio. The original concept was written by Hajime Shinagawa (品川一) and developed into an original story about a group of high school students living in a neighborhood community.
Special Pre-Broadcast Livestream
A special streaming program has also been announced for June 28 at 7:30 p.m.. Cast members scheduled to appear include Yuto Takenaka (Araki), Nene Hieda (Stella), Satsumi Matsuda (Kruse), and Maki Kawase (Dr. Yuda). The program will include an advance screening of about 15 minutes of footage from episode 1 before the anime airs.
