The manga “Nishi Tokyo Metal Brothers” by Nobuko Sezawa officially released its first volume on June 4.
Synopsis
The story follows Haruo, a boy who grew up in the town of Biei in Hokkaido. He has trouble expressing his emotions, until he discovers metal music and falls completely in love with it. From then on, Haruo devotes himself tirelessly to practicing guitar.
As he enters high school, Haruo begins facing difficult questions about his future. He had vaguely imagined going on to university in Sapporo, but one day, while playing guitar at a local community event, an image of himself standing on the stage at Tokyo Dome flashes into his mind. In that moment, he realizes that this is what he truly wants.
Haruo firmly decides that after graduating from high school, he will head to Tokyo to chase his dream. This coming-of-age metal music story is currently being serialized on Shonen Jump+.
