The real-location stamp rally (聖地巡礼) for the TV anime Nihon Sangoku (日本三国) is officially moving into Phase 2, with the launch of an exclusive holographic postcard set for the Ishikawa Prefecture leg of the event, scheduled to run from May 26 – December 31, 2026.
About Nihon Sangoku
Nihon Sangoku is adapted from the manga by Matsuki Ikka, serialized in the “Manga ONE” app and on the “Ura Sunday” website by Shogakukan. The story is set in a near-future Japan where civilization has collapsed following nuclear war, natural disasters, and corrupt governance, leaving the country fractured into three rival power blocs. Amid the chaos, Misumi Aoki, a local government official, rises to fight in order to “unite Japan” once more, armed with vast knowledge and fearless resolve. The manga has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation and has been adapted into a TV anime under the direction of Terasawa Kazuaki, produced by Studio Kafka. The cast includes Ono Kensho (as Misumi Aoki), Fukuyama Jun (as Azama Yoshitsune), Seto Asami (as Higashima Koki), and Han Megumi (narrator).
Stamp Rally Phase 2: Ishikawa
This stamp rally takes fans to four real-world locations featured in the anime across four prefectures — Osaka, Ishikawa, Fukui, and Aichi — following Phase 1 (set in Osaka, the capital of the Yamato faction in the story). Phase 2 heads to Ishikawa Prefecture, which serves as the backdrop for the battle against the Seii faction in the story.
The newly revealed collaboration visuals are stunning, depicting Misumi Aoki, Azama Yoshitsune, Riuming Mitsuhide, Wajima Otoro, and Nagakao Taketojun dressed in elegant kimono. The backdrop is the iconic Higashi Chaya Street (ひがし茶屋街), Ishikawa’s most famous tourist destination, evoking an authentically Japanese atmosphere.

Participants who collect stamps at all locations in Ishikawa are eligible to receive a holographic postcard exclusive to Ishikawa and have a chance to enter a grand prize draw for a “Wagyu Notoya Premium Set” worth ¥10,000 — five winners in total. Additionally, original Ishikawa wallpapers are available for download (up to 5 designs) for those who complete the check-in point.
