June 4 is the birthday of Kobayashi Chiaki (小林千晃), a male voice actor making waves in the anime industry.
Career and Notable Roles
Kobayashi Chiaki began his professional voice acting career around 2017 and built a reputation swiftly, earning the Best New Male Actor award at the 15th Seiyu Awards.
From 2025 into 2026 he has taken on lead roles in numerous productions, including Hikari ga Shinda Natsu (光が死んだ夏), Ninja to Gokudou (忍者と極道), and #Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elf (#神奈川に住んでるエルフ), among others.
For the current season he also appears in multiple simulcast titles simultaneously, among them Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!, Akanebashi (あかね噺), Koori no Jouheki (氷の城壁), and Tadaima, Ojama Shimasu! (ただいま、おじゃまします！).
Upcoming Activities and Events
Beyond voice acting, Kobayashi Chiaki also hosts his own solo radio program 「小林千晃のPARTY×PARTY」 on Bunka Hoso. On June 14, a live event titled “Seiyu Kobayashi Chiaki Premium Talk Show Vol.2” is scheduled to be held at the Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka.
