Today (May 20), the manga 「異世界から帰ってきた勇者であるオレが歌舞伎町で王になる話」 (Isekai Kara Kaette Kita Yusha de Aru Ore ga Kabukicho de O ni Naru Hanashi), Volume 1, a work by Degoboko Jampure, went on official sale under publisher Overlap in the Gardo Comics label.
Story Synopsis
In his high school days, Kuze Yuji was summoned to another world as a “Hero” and successfully defeated the Demon King, before returning to the real world. But life after the fact was nothing like he had imagined — Yuji simply couldn’t fit in with society. No matter where he tried to establish himself, nobody was interested, and whenever he told anyone that he had once been a hero in another world, no one believed him.
Utterly disillusioned with life and on the verge of giving up on everything, Yuji stumbles into Kabukicho and accidentally wanders into a concept cafe — but this is no ordinary establishment, because every single employee turns out to be a girl who had also crossed over to the same other world as him. This chance encounter will change Yuji’s life forever and set him on an unlikely path to becoming “King” of the Kabukicho entertainment district.
