The first theatrical film in the franchise, 「Made in Abyss: Mezameru Shinpi」(Made in Abyss: Awakening to the Deep Mystery), adapted from the manga by Tsukushi Akihito, has released its second special trailer.
The trailer opens with Riko’s line 「奈落の底に答えはきっとある」 (“At the bottom of the Abyss, there must surely be an answer”), before treating viewers to scenes of Riko, Reg, and Faputa snuggling adorably with Nanachi.
The story of this film picks up after Season 2 of the anime series, depicting Riko and her companions as they invite Faputa to join them on the descent into the 7th layer of the Abyss.
