Bandai Namco Entertainment released a new trailer last Monday to preview Season 17 content for the battle royale action game My Hero Ultra Rumble (known in Japan as My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble).
New Content in Season 17
Season 17 officially launches on May 27, with the headline addition being Mirko as a new playable character, along with several new costumes. Starting in June, additional costumes will continue to be added, including a new fighting style for Present Mic called “D.J. Board.”
About My Hero Ultra Rumble
The game originally launched in September 2023 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The core gameplay features competition between eight teams of three players, with each character using their own Quirk in battle.
Previously, Season 14 launched on November 14, followed by Season 15 on January 21, and Season 16 on March 25, which also celebrated the game’s 2.5th anniversary.
Other My Hero Academia Franchise News
On the broader franchise front, the latest game My Hero Academia: All’s Justice launched worldwide on February 6 (February 5 in Japan) on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Meanwhile, the mobile game My Hero Ultra Impact officially shut down on May 18, after running on iOS and Android since February 2022.
