The anime production team behind the light novel Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Ittekara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita. (also known in English as I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand), written by Ezogingitune with character designs by DeeCHA, has unveiled a new key visual and announced five additional voice cast members, along with confirming the official air date of July 6.
Story Synopsis
Luck decides to fight a last stand against an endless demon army so that his teammates can escape to safety. Armed with skill, talent, and quick reflexes, he manages to hold out for ten years — ultimately defeating the demon king single-handedly. Now he must face a new challenge: living in a world that knows him as a legend, a veteran of war, and a man ready to move forward.

Theme Song and Air Date
The ending theme will be titled “Ari Kitari na Nichijo to Koun na Hibi e” (Onwards to Ordinary and Fortunate Days), performed by idol group MEISHOHIKOKAI.
The anime was originally scheduled to premiere in April, but was pushed back to July 6 to allow the production team to deliver an even more polished presentation to viewers.
Source Material
The original web novel was first published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in June 2018. The first light novel volume was released in February 2019, with volume 8 set for release on July 15. The manga adaptation by Chaco Abeno and Kitsune Tennoji has been serialized in Square Enix’s Manga UP! service since August 2019, with volume 19 having just released on April 7. The combined print run of novels and manga has surpassed 4.45 million copies. Both Square Enix and Comikey handle the English-language manga distribution.
