ป้ายชื่อสถานีอิรุมะ-ชิ บนชานชาลา Seibu Railway ที่ตกแต่งด้วยธีม Mairimashita! Iruma-kun

A massive collaboration project between the TV anime 「魔入りました!入間くん」(Mairimashita! Iruma-kun), based on the original work by Nishi Osamu, together with Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture and Seibu Railway has officially launched, under the project name 「魔入りました!入間市 デビデビ周遊大作戦!」

Background of the Project

The collaboration was sparked by a charming coincidence: the name of the protagonist, Suzuki Iruma, sounds identical to the city name “Iruma (入間)”. This gave rise to the idea of having Iruma and his friends take on the role of “Iruma City Cheer Team,” helping liven up excitement around the local train stations and shopping areas.

Station Signs and Shopping District Transformed to the Max

One of the first major highlights of the project is the transformation of the station name signs at Iruma-shi Station on Seibu Railway’s Ikebukuro Line into exclusive Mairimashita! Iruma-kun themed designs.

Beyond that, the Appoopo (アポポ商店街) shopping district in the city is participating in a “Shopping District Demonification Plan (商店街魔界化計画)” — with street lighting dyed in blue to evoke the demonic atmosphere of the anime, plus special decorations featuring illustrations of 15 characters from the series.

Upcoming Events

The project also has many more planned events on the way, including:

  • Installation of special photo spots
  • Stamp rally activities
  • Distribution of a special “Iruma City Cheer Team Certificate” for visitors who complete all stops in the shopping district
  • Installation of special anime-illustrated panels
  • Sale of collaboration tickets with Seibu Railway
  • A Digital Stamp Rally via the Seibu Line app

Further details on each activity will be announced on the official Iruma City website.
