Sousou no Frieren (葬送のフリーレン) fans, get ready. A special limited-time collaboration titled “思い出を紡ぐ、星と焚き火の旅路” (A Journey of Memories, Stars, and Campfires) will be held at 農園リゾート THE FARM, an agricultural resort in Katori, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, from July 17 to October 16, 2026. The highlight is a special dessert inspired by the series: “Merkur Pudding”.
About Sousou no Frieren
Sousou no Frieren is a manga serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday, written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. The story takes place after the Demon King has been defeated by a party of heroes, focusing on the journey of Frieren, a mage who has lived for more than a thousand years and once fought alongside those heroes, as well as the new people she meets afterward.
The first season of the TV anime aired from September 2023 to March 2024, directed by Keiichiro Saito, and became extremely popular both in and outside Japan. Season 2 aired from January to March 2026 with Tomoya Kitagawa as chief director and Madhouse handling animation production, while Keiichiro Saito served as directing advisor. At the end of season 2, it was also announced that season 3, titled “黄金郷編 (Golden Land Arc)”, will air in October 2027.
Merkur Pudding, a Special Dessert from Frieren’s World
Merkur Pudding is a dessert that appears in the anime, in a scene where Frieren and her traveling companions stop to enjoy a large pudding topped with rich berry sauce. It became a memorable image of a warm rest during their adventure.
At THE FARM, the pudding will be served in an immersive style where guests can “complete the dessert themselves.” Guests receive a smooth, sweet milk pudding with berry sauce served separately, then pour the sauce over the pudding as they like to create their own Merkur Pudding. The moment of pouring the sauce is designed as a special experience that will remain in memory for a long time.
Cute Exclusive Newly Drawn Flags
In addition to the dessert, the collaboration includes decorative flags featuring exclusive newly drawn illustrations created especially for this event. The artwork shows Frieren / Himmel and Fern / Stark in adorable agricultural resort work outfits. The flag comes with dinner and can be used to decorate desserts or dishes as guests like, making it a small item filled with charm and the atmosphere of the anime world.
