Fans of the Dungeon Meshi (ダンジョン飯) anime, adapted from Ryoko Kui’s original manga, can look forward to two pieces of news in early July: the return of the popular radio program and new information about Season 2.
Special Radio Program Returns
The program 「ダンジョン飯～迷宮探索ラジオ～2026夏のお食事会」 will stream live on the KADOKAWA Anime Channel on YouTube on July 5, 2026 at 9:00 p.m. Japan time. It will be hosted by Kentarō Kumagai, voice of Laios, and Ayaka Senbongi, voice of Marcille. The two will enjoy monster food-style dishes inspired by the series while sharing anime updates.
The program will also bring back popular segments from the previous season, add new segments to watch for, and accept letters from fans through a dedicated online form.
Season 2 News to Be Revealed at Anime Expo 2026
Earlier that same day, new information about Dungeon Meshi Season 2, which has already been announced for production, will be revealed at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles, United States. The announcement will take place during the 「Studio TRIGGER Panel」 at 2:00 p.m. local time, which corresponds to 6:00 a.m. on July 5 in Japan. Fans can follow details through Anime Expo’s official website and X account on the day of the event.
