ปกหนังสือ Rurubu Nintama Rantaro คู่มือพิเศษที่รวมโลกของAnimeนินทามะและข้อมูลท่องเที่ยว

Good news for fans of the anime Nintama Rantaro (忍たま乱太郎): the popular travel guide series Rurubu (るるぶ) has announced a special collaboration book titled Rurubu Nintama Rantaro. It will be available at bookstores across Japan and online bookstores starting June 4, 2026.

About Nintama Rantaro

Nintama Rantaro is a ninja comedy manga by Sobee Amako. Set at a ninjutsu school, it follows the humorous daily lives of Rantaro, Shinbei, and Kirimaru, three boys training hard to become first-rate ninjas. The TV anime series began airing in 1993 and has long been loved by fans of all ages.

Most recently, the theatrical film Gekijouban Nintama Rantaro: Dokutake Ninjatai Saikyou no Gunshi opened on December 20, 2024. Adapted from the popular novel Rakudai Ninja Rantaro: Dokutake Ninjatai Saikyou no Gunshi, the film presents a more serious story than the usual anime, beginning when teacher Doi sets off to duel Tasogaredoki ninja Moroiizumi Sonnamon and then mysteriously disappears.

Highlights Inside the Book

Rurubu Nintama Rantaro presents the world of the anime in Rurubu’s familiar style: fun, detailed, and easy to understand. The book is divided into several notable sections:

  • Character guide: Covers 94 characters connected to the ninjutsu school and the surrounding world.
  • Daily life of the Nintama: Explores school buildings, food, clothing, dormitories, and places outside the school grounds.
  • “Welcome to Amagasaki” section: Includes a special interview with Kosuke Okano, voice actor for Toshikichi Yamada, and the sixth-year cast members from the musical Ninja Musical Nintama Rantaro (忍ミュ). It also features locations connected to the original Rakudai Ninja Rantaro manga, a “Tracing Place Names” column explaining how character names come from real place names, and travel information for Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture.
  • “I want to learn ninja arts” section: Features a special conversation about ninjas between original creator Sobee Amako and Hiroshi Kitagawa, honorary director of the Kudoyama Sanada Museum. It also introduces ninja experience spots around Japan and places where visitors can feel the atmosphere of the Muromachi to Sengoku periods, the era of the Nintama setting.

Cute Bonus Stickers

The book includes stickers as a bonus. The designs use everyday-life illustrations that evoke travel, as well as characters whose names come from locations in Amagasaki, from the Nintama Rantaro Series 31 episode “Welcome to Amagasaki.” They can be used for decorating, collecting, or cutting out and placing inside a phone case.
