Crunchyroll has revealed a new lineup of anime coming to its streaming platform in 2026, covering both new series and long-awaited sequels. The company also announced a special screening schedule for Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles.
Anime Lineup and Release Schedule
Anime beginning streaming in summer 2026 include Goodbye, Lara on July 5, I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand on July 6, and Tomb Raider King on July 8.
Anime scheduled for July 2026 include:
- Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2
- The Oblivious Saint Can’t Contain Her Power
- The Ogre’s Bride
- The Villager of Level 999
- Victoria of Many Faces
Anime planned for October 2026 include:
- Firefly Wedding
- Overgeared
- The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 – the first cour begins in October 2026, with the second cour beginning in April 2027
Other anime without firm premiere dates include Gachiakuta Season 2 (TBA) and Sasaki and Peeps Season 2, which is expected in 2026.
Special Screenings at Anime Expo 2026
Anime Expo 2026 will be held from July 2-5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Crunchyroll has scheduled several special screenings throughout the event as follows:
Wednesday, July 2
- 10:00 a.m. – Advance screening of episodes 1-3 of The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System
- 11:30 a.m. – Special screenings of Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life and Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2
- 1:00 p.m. – Premiere of episodes 1-2 of Mushoku Tensei Season 3
- 2:30 p.m. – Special screenings of Victoria of Many Faces and Sasaki and Peeps Season 2
- 4:00 p.m. – Special screenings of Overgeared and Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2
- 5:30 p.m. – Special screenings of The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat Season 2 and Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You
Friday, July 4
- 10:00 a.m. – Advance screening of episodes 1-2 of I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand and the premiere of A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2
- 12:00 p.m. – Special screening of The Villager of Level 999
- 6:30 p.m. – Special screenings of Firefly Wedding and The Ogre’s Bride
- 6:45 p.m. – Premiere of episodes 1-2 of The Oblivious Saint Can’t Contain Her Power
- 8:30 p.m. – Premiere of episodes 1-2 of Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship!
