The official website for the TV anime Hell Mode – The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing (Hell Mode: Yarikomi Suki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Muso Suru), based on the light novel by Hamuo (story) and Mo (illustration), revealed key information for Season 2, including a new promotional video, additional cast members, and the official premiere date.
Premiere Date and Opening Theme
Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on July 3. The newly released promotional video also previews the season’s opening theme, “○✕△□”, performed by Romanha Marshmallow.

Staff and Studio
The production staff remains the same as the first season, with Masato Tamagawa (Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho, The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt, The Great Cleric) directing at Yokohama Animation Lab. Daishiro Tanimura (Magical Destroyers) oversees the series scripts, and Kei Tsushima (The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These) handles character designs. The music is composed by Misaki Tsuchida, Moyu Kanazaki, Junko Nakajima, Kanade Sakuma, Reiko Abe, Kaho Sawada, BeauDamian, and Tsugumi Tanaka.
Looking Back: Season 1
The first season premiered on January 9 on AT-X and MBS before expanding to BS NTV, ABEMA, d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hodai. HIDIVE streamed the series as it aired and also offered an English dub. The first season’s opening theme was “Haku” by Atarayo, and the ending theme was “Sanctuary” by Kaya.
Original Work
Hamuo began publishing the story on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in November 2019 and continues to update it. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the print version in July 2020, while the manga adaptation by Tetta has been serialized in Comic Earth Star since October 2020 and is still ongoing.
