Kadokawa revealed a new set of information for Saga of Tanya the Evil II (Youjo Senki II), the second anime season based on the light novel series by author Carlo Zen and illustrator Shinobu Shinotsuki. The update includes a new promotional visual, theme song artists, broadcast date, and a mini anime that will accompany the season.
Theme Songs
MYTH&ROID returns to handle lyrics, arrangement, and performance for the opening theme “Why? RED induction”. The ending theme, “Weiter! Weiter!”, will again be performed by protagonist Tanya Degurechaff through the voice of Aoi Yuki. hotaru writes the lyrics, while Masayuki Nakano (THE SPELLBOUND / BOOM BOOM SATELLITES) handles the music and arrangement.
Broadcast Date and Channels
The anime will premiere on July 8 on AT-X at 21:30 JST. It will also air on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, and TV Aichi.
Mini Anime “Youjo Shenki 2”
As with the first season, the second season will be accompanied by a mini anime titled “Youjo Shenki 2”. Each episode will air immediately after the main episode on AT-X and stream on the Kadokawa Anime Channel on YouTube the following Thursday at midnight JST for two weeks. The new mini anime will also introduce new members of the Salamander Kampfgruppe.

Additional Series Information
The original light novel series began publication in 2013, and Kadokawa released the 14th volume in September 2023. The manga adaptation by Chika Tojo, which began in Monthly Comp Ace in 2016, released its 34th volume on March 26.
The first anime season aired in January 2017, with Crunchyroll streaming it as it aired and Funimation streaming the English dub. The anime film opened in Japan in February 2019, and Crunchyroll screened it in the United States in May 2019 before beginning streaming in September of that year.
The second season was first announced in June 2021, and Yen Press has licensed both the light novel and manga for the English-language market.
