Blue Lock anime fans can get ready for a new merchandise collection. TEAM Entertainment has introduced a “Check Sailor Style” goods lineup featuring newly drawn illustrations of fan-favorite characters in check-pattern sailor outfits, giving them a completely different charm from their familiar soccer uniforms.
About Blue Lock
Blue Lock is a soccer manga that won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the shonen category. It is written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, and is serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
The story centers on the “Blue Lock” project, established by the Japan Football Union to cultivate a world-class striker capable of leading Japan to a World Cup victory. A total of 300 high school forwards must survive a ruthless selection process to prove who is the world’s best striker.
The first TV anime aired for two cours starting in October 2022, followed by the film Blue Lock The Movie -Episode Nagi- in April 2024 and a 14-episode second TV season in October of the same year. A continuation of the TV series was also announced at Blue Lock Egoist Festa 2025 in September 2025.
