Renowned character designer Akemi Takada will hold a solo exhibition titled Akemi Takada Solo Exhibition -Angel Touch- 2026 from June 25 to July 12, 2026 at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop on the first floor of Tokyo Design Center in Gotanda, Tokyo.
Original Artwork and Exclusive Goods
The exhibition will display original artwork from works for which Takada handled character designs herself, including Magical Angel Creamy Mami, as well as other original pieces. The venue will also sell 88 Graph signed prints and exhibition merchandise.
Special Making-of Video
One highlight of the event will be a making-of video shown on a screen at the venue, documenting about 15 minutes of Takada’s coloring process. A short version of the making-of footage for a new illustration is also planned for release on Studio Pierrot‘s official YouTube channel.
Autograph Session and Special Bonus
On the final day, July 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., an autograph session with Akemi Takada will be held for the first 100 people who purchase original artwork or an 88 Graph at the venue. Selected participants will have their names and signatures written on special shikishi boards.
Customers who spend at least 5,000 yen including tax at the EDITION88 Flagship Shop will receive a pearl art card as a gift, randomly selected from three designs.
Social Media Campaign
To celebrate the exhibition, the organizers launched an X (Twitter) and Instagram campaign giving away four signed Creamy Mami posters. Fans can enter by following the specified accounts and reposting or liking the campaign post.
