The TV anime 「乙女怪獣キャラメリゼ」(Otome Kaijuu Caramelise), based on the manga by Spica Aoki serialized in KADOKAWA’s Monthly Comic Alive, has officially announced that it will begin airing on July 2, 2026. The second main visual and second main PV have also been released for fans to watch.
Story
The story follows Kuroe Akaishi, a schoolgirl with a strange condition: whenever her emotions run high, parts of her body transform into something monster-like. She shuts herself away and accepts that no one could ever accept her, until one day she grows closer to Arata Minami, the most popular boy in school. That causes her symptoms to intensify, and her body transforms into a giant monster.
Anime theme songs
The opening theme is performed by METANICK, while the ending theme is by HoneyWorks feat. ハコニワリリィ (HaKoniwalily).
