The staff of the anime Cyborg 009: Nemesis, a new animation project adapted from Shotaro Ishinomori’s classic manga Cyborg 009 from Ishimori Production, has announced that Mamoru Miyano will voice Cyborg 002 / Jet Link, a cyborg character capable of flying at speeds up to Mach 5.
Yuki Kaji was previously announced as the voice of protagonist Joe Shimamura / Cyborg 009. Other previously announced voice actors playing cyborg characters include:

Production Staff
The anime is directed by Hideki Ambo at studio Arect. Atsuhiro Tomioka, known for series scripts on Pokemon, writes the scripts together with CHARATEX, while sanorin handles character design.
For the theme song, female vocalist Kyoko of the rock band Barbee Boys will perform “Taga Tame ni” (For Whom), a song previously used in the 1979 TV anime. The original version was performed by Ken Narita and Koorogi ’73, with lyrics written by Ishinomori himself.
Cyborg 009: Nemesis is scheduled to stream in summer this year.
History of Cyborg 009
Shotaro Ishinomori’s original Cyborg 009 manga began serialization in Shonen Gahosha’s Weekly King magazine in July 1964. It has been adapted into TV anime three times, in 1968, 1979 and 2001, as well as films in 1966, 1967 and 1980. Later entries include the films 009 Re:Cyborg (2012) and Cyborg 009 Call of Justice (2016), along with a crossover OVA with Devilman in 2015.
Most recently, scriptwriter Masaki Tsuji and artist Masato Hayase launched a new manga titled Cyborg 009 Taiheiyo no Borei (Cyborg 009: Ghost of the Pacific) in April 2024.
