To mark the return of the animated film “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time”, directed by Mamoru Hosoda, in a 4K revival screening, the organizers have announced several special bonuses for theatergoers. All bonuses will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis in limited quantities.
Time Leap Tattoo Stickers
The main bonus is an original tattoo sticker inspired by the time leap countdown numbers that appear on Makoto’s arm in the film. The numbers on the stickers differ depending on the screening week and format:
- Regular Screening, Week 1 – Numbers “00-03”
- Regular Screening, Week 3 – Numbers “04-07”
- 4DX Screening, starting August 21, 2026 – Numbers “08-09”
Special Mini Fan Only on July 13
There will also be a one-day-only bonus on July 13, the day Makoto uses time leap for the first time, also known as “Nice Day.” On that day, theaters will distribute a mini fan with newly drawn artwork by animation director Hiroyuki Aoyama. The concept is “What if Makoto and Chiaki went to a summer festival, or fireworks viewing, together in yukata?” The fan will feature line art based on that illustration.
