Sano Hirotoshi is a celebrated mechanical animation director best known for his work on Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory and Mobile Fighter G Gundam. His precise and dynamic mecha artwork played a defining role in shaping the visual identity of both series.
A Legend Returns After 25 Years
The original art book compiled Sano’s Gundam illustrations into a single definitive volume, and after more than 25 years out of print, it is finally being revived. The reprint was produced by high-resolution scanning of the original source material, ensuring the artwork is reproduced at the same quality as the first edition.
