A brand-new kids cosmetics series themed around Meitantei Pretty Cure! (名探偵プリキュア！) has gone on sale through the Shobido Online Store, the official e-commerce shop of cosmetics and character goods manufacturer Shobido. The line-up features four products decorated with artwork of the series’ Pretty Cure characters.
About Meitantei Pretty Cure!
Meitantei Pretty Cure! is the 23rd entry in the Pretty Cure franchise, airing since February 2026. Built around the motif of “detective” and the theme of “seeing, feeling, and thinking for yourself to find the true answer,” the story is set in 1999. Protagonist Akechi Anna is swept back in time from the present day by a mysterious power. Driven by her desire to help those in need, she teams up with Kobayashi Mikuru, whom she meets in that era, and the two transform into the legendary detective Pretty Cure. The series follows their friendship, growth, and a new bond that transcends time.
