The TV anime Tongari Boshi no Atelier (Witch Hat Atelier), based on the manga by Shirohama Kamome, has kicked off a special collaboration with social media platform X.
Fudemushi Emoji Unlocked with a Hashtag
The Fudemushi — a small, brush-furred creature that appears in the series — has been immortalised as an original emoji on X. Users who post with any of the following hashtags will see the emoji appear automatically:
- #とんがり帽子のアトリエ
- #WitchHatAtelier
- #フデムシ
The campaign is time-limited, running until 23:59 on September 15 (JST).
Exclusive Content and Behind-the-Scenes Interviews
Alongside the emoji campaign, the production team is rolling out exclusive content on X. The first instalment is a serialised interview series in which cast members and staff discuss the making of the anime. The debut entry features a first-ever conversation between Motomuura Reina, who voices protagonist Coco, and director Watanabe Ayumu.
Comic Natalie has also published a separate interview with Director Watanabe, in which he discusses his commitment to faithfully recreating Shirohama’s distinctive artwork and world-building, his working relationship with the original author, and the newly composed theme songs by Eve and Nakamura Hak, both of which were written specifically to complement the anime’s atmosphere.
