A newly drawn illustration featuring Kamado Tanjiro and Tomioka Giyuu has been revealed for the Animate-exclusive bonuses accompanying the Blu-ray and DVD release of Gekijouban Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen-jo-hen Dai-isshou — Akaza Raikou (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — Infinity Castle Arc, Chapter 1: The Return of Akaza).

About the Series

Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) is an anime adaptation of the manga by Gotoge Koyoharu, published in Shueisha’s Jump Comics label across 23 volumes with a cumulative print run exceeding 220 million copies worldwide. Animation is produced by ufotable, with the series having launched in April 2019 with the Tanjiro Kamado: Risshi-hen arc.

The theatrical trilogy Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen-jo-hen depicts the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons inside the “Infinity Castle.” Chapter 1: The Return of Akaza opened in Japanese cinemas on July 18, 2025.

The New Illustration

The newly drawn artwork captures Tanjiro and Tomioka standing back-to-back, each unleashing their techniques in a dynamic, action-packed composition. The illustration will be used across several Animate-exclusive bonus items:

A Blu-ray & DVD Release Commemorative Fair will be held at Animate stores nationwide and via Animate’s online shop, split into two phases:

• Phase 2: August 29 – September 27, 2026 | Bonus: Clear bookmarks (7 varieties)

Characters featured across both phases include Tanjiro, Agatsuma Zenitsu, Tomioka Giyuu, Kocho Shinobu, Tsuyuri Kanao, Hakuji (Komatsu), and Koyuki.

Customers receive one bonus item for every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on Kimetsu no Yaiba merchandise or for each audio-visual product purchased or pre-ordered under the same conditions. Purchasers of the Complete Production Limited edition (including the Animate Limited Set) will receive the full set of all 7 varieties.
