Story Overview
The story kicks off when the engagement between a Hero and a high-ranking officer of the Demon King’s Army is publicly announced, causing humans and demons — two races that have historically had little contact — to suddenly become very aware of one another.
Against this backdrop, Mefu and Teromero, the duo running a romantic consultation agency, step in as matchmakers dedicated to bridging the gap between the two species and helping inter-racial couples find happiness.
Chapter 1: A Demon With a Very Unusual Diet
The opening chapter centers on a merchant who despises human interaction — a man so withdrawn he has no friends, let alone a romantic partner. Mefu and Teromero take on his case and introduce him to a demon of a rather unique variety: one whose primary sustenance is human bodily fluids. It’s a quirky and intriguing start that sets the tone for the series’ unconventional take on interspecies romance.
