The staff behind the television anime adaptation of Victoria of Many Faces (Tefuda ga Ōme no Victoria), the light novel series by writer Syuu and illustrator Nanna Fujimi, released a new short “Victoria and Jeffrey version” promotional video on Friday.

An online advance screening program is scheduled for June 27 at 3:00 p.m. JST (2:00 a.m. EDT), streaming the first two episodes alongside a live talk segment featuring the main cast.

The anime is produced at Studio DEEN, directed by Nobukage Kimura (episode director for tsuritama and Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-; Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26). Naohiro Fukushima (I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level 2, #COMPASS2.0 ANIMATION PROJECT) oversees series scripts, and Mina Ōsawa (Given franchise) handles character design for animation. Frontier Works is credited for original work planning.
Three-piece band KI_EN performs the ending theme “En no Tsuki.”

Story
In an era when spies operate in the shadows of every nation, Chloe is a master of disguise and martial arts who has never failed a mission. After being betrayed by her own boss, she vanishes — reinventing herself as the ordinary citizen Victoria in the neighboring kingdom of Ashberry, determined to live a quiet, normal life. But peace proves elusive as she becomes entangled with a colorful cast of people, and her spy skills turn out to be far more indispensable than she ever anticipated. Meanwhile, the second prince and others grow increasingly intrigued by Victoria’s hidden strength, and the shadows of her past begin to close in on the woman of many faces.
Source Material
Syuu originally serialized the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website beginning in December 2021, with the most recent web update in February 2022. Kadokawa published the third print volume in January 2024 and will release the fourth volume on June 25.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Komo Ushino has been running on Kadokawa’s Flos Comic website since December 2022; its sixth compiled volume shipped on February 16. Yen Press publishes both the light novel and manga in English.
