New venue merchandise has been unveiled for the upcoming musical reading play 「SOUND THEATRE × Natsume’s Book of Friends ～Ongeki no Shou: Natsukazura～」, based on the manga by Yuki Midorikawa. It has also been announced that the evening performance will be streamed exclusively live on U-NEXT.

Performance Details & Livestream
The show takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Tokyo International Forum Hall A, with both a matinee and an evening performance. It marks the first new entry in the SOUND THEATRE × Natsume’s Book of Friends series in approximately eight years, following three previous productions beginning in 2013.
U-NEXT will livestream the evening performance in full, including an after-talk segment. Taking the stage for the after-talk will be Hiroshi Kamiya, Kazuhiko Inoue, Ryohei Kimura, Hisayoshi Suganuma, Ryoka Yuzuki, Daisuke Ono, Mikako Komatsu, and director Takaya Okamoto. A time-limited catch-up stream is also planned, along with exclusive cast comment videos for U-NEXT viewers.
