All the Anime (Anime Limited’s label) announced the full English dub cast for The Ghost in the Shell (Kōkaku Kidōtai THE GHOST IN THE SHELL), the new television anime series from Science SARU, via its official X/Twitter account.

Screenings and Broadcast Dates
The first two dubbed episodes will screen in the United Kingdom on June 26. The series then makes its Japanese television debut on July 7 via Kansai TV and Fuji TV’s new Tuesday-night anime block, “Ka-Anival!!”, at 11:00 p.m.
A film version comprising the first two episodes will have its global premiere at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in June. Those same episodes will also screen at Anime Expo on July 4 at the JW Diamond Hall (2:45 p.m. PDT), followed by a panel with director Mokochan, character designer and chief animation director Shūhei Handa, and other producers.
Staff
Mokochan — known as a storyboarder and key animator on DAN DA DAN, The Heike Story, and Tatami Time Machine Blues — makes his directorial debut with this series at Science SARU. Toh Enjoe (The Empire of Corpses novelist; Space Dandy, Godzilla Singular Point) handles series composition. Shūhei Handa (Little Witch Academia TV, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, Spriggan ONA) serves as character designer and chief animation director. Music is directed by Taisei Iwasaki (BELLE), composed alongside Ryō Konishi and Yuki Kanesaka (Dr. Stone).

Production Background
The production committee consists of Bandai Namco Filmworks, Kodansha, Science SARU, and Production I.G. Bandai Namco Filmworks first announced the project in May 2024. The anime community mourned the passing of Atsuko Tanaka — the longtime Japanese voice of Motoko Kusanagi across the franchise — who died in August 2024 at the age of 61.
