The official One Piece anime website has begun streaming a new trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of the One Piece Heroines light novel series, written by Jun Esaka and illustrated by Sayaka Suwa. The trailer announces and previews the anime’s theme song, “Blue Shining Star,” performed by singer Aina The End.
About the One Piece Heroines Novel Series
The series is a collection of stand-alone prose short stories spotlighting fierce female characters from the world of One Piece, with each chapter centering on a different heroine. Stories include Nami starring in a life-changing fashion show, Robin helping to decipher an ancient tablet alongside Koala and Sabo, Princess Vivi receiving a love letter from an unexpected admirer, and Perona battling Zolo and Mihawk over the last bottle of wine.
The series was first serialized in One Piece Magazine beginning in 2019. Shueisha published the first compiled novel volume in Japan in June 2021, followed by the second volume, One Piece novel HEROINES [Colorful], in March 2024. Viz Media holds the English-language license and released the second volume on July 22, 2025.

The production team includes director Haruka Kamatani (Koisuru One Piece), character designer Takashi Kojima (Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation), and scriptwriter Momoka Toyoda (One Piece Fan Letter).
Premiere Date
The anime will premiere with “episode: NAMI” on July 5 at 11:15 p.m. JST (10:15 a.m. EDT) on Fuji TV.
