A brand-new apparel item has been announced for the TV anime Urusei Yatsura (うる星やつら): a fully embroidered sukajan jacket spotlighting the beloved oni girl Lum (Ram), drawing on the classic aesthetic of traditional Japanese souvenir jackets.
About Urusei Yatsura
Urusei Yatsura is a romantic comedy manga by Rumiko Takahashi, her debut serialized work. The story follows Moroboshi Ataru, dubbed Earth’s most “dangerous” high schooler, and Lum, a beautiful alien oni girl who descends from space, as they navigate their chaotic everyday lives together.
More than 40 years after the original TV anime adaptation, a brand-new anime series was produced: Season 1 aired from October 2022 to March 2023, and Season 2 ran from January to June 2024.

Taking inspiration from traditional sukajan (Japanese souvenir jacket) designs, this new piece features full embroidery on both the front and back panels, making for a striking, eye-catching garment.
