The official website for Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Kikikaikai! Ora no Yōkai Bake-shon (Crayon Shin-chan The Movie Super Strange! My Yōkai Monster Vacation), the 33rd 2D anime film in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise, has announced that Japanese game streamer Retort will join the cast as Yōkai Dashimaki Shinpan (Rolled Omelette Umpire) — a baseball-obsessed yōkai who presides over the game between the Edomae Sushies and Shin-chan’s group.
Cast
Sairi Itō stars as Yako, a nine-tailed fox yōkai, while Sakamoto of the comedy duo Mayurika plays the Squid Yōkai, the first baseman of the Edomae Sushies — the team that challenges Shin-chan and his friends to a baseball match. Series regulars Yumiko Kobayashi, Miki Narahashi, Toshiyuki Morikawa, and Satomi Koorogi also appear. Idol group FRUITS ZIPPER members Runa Nakagawa and Noel Hayase have guest roles.

Series Context
The previous entry, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Chō Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Magnificent! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers), opened in Japan on August 8, 2025. It sold 363,000 tickets and earned approximately 450.28 million yen (about US$3.07 million) in its opening three days, climbing to 516,000 tickets and 633 million yen (about US$4.33 million) over its first four days — a span that included the Mountain Day holiday on August 11.
The Crayon Shin-chan television anime has been airing since April 1992 and currently broadcasts every Saturday at 4:30 p.m. JST on TV Asahi. A spinoff TV anime based on Yōichi Tsukahara’s manga Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi no Ryūgi (Style of Hiroshi Nohara’s LUNCH) also began airing on TV Asahi on October 3.
