The new manga series Koenashi no Lorelei (声無しのローレライ) officially launched on the Comic Seymour digital platform on July 3. The series is an original story by Satou Tomo, with name (storyboard) work by Fei and art by YURI.
Story
The protagonist, Noel, is a young girl who cannot bring herself to speak her mind — a trait that has led her relatives and family to mock her as “voiceless.” Treated little better than a servant, Noel finds her only solace in singing alone, in places where no one can hear her.
Everything changes when Julius, a marquis, stumbles upon Noel’s singing by chance and is completely captivated by her voice. He invites her to participate in an audition for a dedicated vocalist position in his orchestra. Under Julius’s wing, Noel gradually regains her confidence and begins to nurture her long-held dream of becoming a professional singer.
The series blends romance and music in a story about a quiet girl finding her voice — both literally and figuratively. Fans of fantasy romance manga will want to keep an eye on this one.
