Comment from the Original Author
Oninoshiro Miya, the author of the original light novel, shared a comment to mark the occasion:
“The decision to produce Season 2 of Lv2 Cheat is entirely thanks to everyone involved with the work and all the fans who have always supported us. I am truly grateful. The story of the Furio family, centered on Furio and Rees, will return on an even grander scale, and I look forward to enjoying it together with all the fans. In addition to the familiar cast, Season 2 will introduce new characters, and I believe it will be even more fun than Season 1. Through it all, Furio and Rees will remain at the center, stirring things up in the best possible way. I’m also very much looking forward to seeing even more of the golden-haired hero — who was voted the hardest worker of Season 1 (and also the one who suffered the most) ╭( ・ㅂ・)و̑ グッ. Please look forward to Season 2 of Lv2 Cheat!”
Katagiri, the illustrator of the original novel, and Itomachi Akine, the artist behind the manga adaptation, also contributed celebratory illustrations to mark the announcement.
Further details regarding the Season 2 broadcast schedule and staff are yet to be announced.
