Story

Granting Casters like Wim Strauss serve a vital support role for their party — but after his abilities wound the pride of his group’s leader, he finds himself unceremoniously kicked out. His fortunes soon change, however, when his childhood friend (and self-proclaimed stalker) Heidemarie invites him to join Nachtlibelle, one of the most prestigious guilds in the land. Wim’s talents may lack flash, but surrounded by his new eccentric crewmates, this unassuming support caster just might get his chance to shine.

Background

Tokura originally launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō web platform in November 2020. A manga adaptation debuted on the Manga ga Ugau app in September 2021, and Futabasha published the 11th compiled volume on April 30. Seven Seas Entertainment holds the license for both the light novel series and its manga adaptation in English.
