The TV anime Futsutsuka na Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga: Hinomiya Chōso Torikae-den has officially revealed the synopsis and preview cuts for its first episode.
Episode 1 Synopsis: “Futsutsuka na Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga”
The opening episode is set inside the Hinomiya, a palace where candidates are trained to become the next imperial consort. There, a young woman named Kou Reirin — one of the palace’s prized candidates — finds herself forcibly body-swapped with Shu Keigetu, a woman widely despised and branded a villainess. Strangely, however, Reirin appears genuinely pleased by the situation. The released preview cuts showcase a wide range of expressions from both Reirin and Keigetu.
Broadcast Schedule
The series premieres on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 23:45 JST on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. Streaming on various platforms begins the same night from 24:15 JST onward.
