King Records has announced “STARCHILD 45th ANNIVERSARY ‘ROBOT ANIME SYMPHONIC CONCERT'”, a special orchestral concert celebrating the 45th anniversary of its iconic Starchild label. The event will be held over two days — October 24 and 25, 2026 — at Nippon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo.
A Label That Shaped Anime Music History
Founded in 1981, Starchild was responsible for producing countless beloved anime songs and soundtracks over more than three decades. The label closed in 2016 following a restructuring of King Records, but its 45th founding anniversary has provided the occasion for this landmark concert event.

The concert will bring together artists who released anime songs under the Starchild banner, including:

- Japan Pops Orchestra
The program will feature iconic robot anime songs arranged for full orchestra, drawn from series including Mobile Suit Gundam, Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Martian Successor Nadesico, and Fafner in the Azure. Some selections will differ between the two performance days.
Tickets and Schedule
Two ticket tiers are available: “Stachild Mania Seats” — which guarantee front-section floor seating and include a limited-edition “Premium Starchild BOX” exclusive to this concert — and standard general seats. The fastest-priority lottery opened on July 11 at 10:00 a.m., with results announced on July 29 at 6:00 p.m. Fan club members of each performing artist may also apply through dedicated FC priority channels.
