To celebrate the broadcast premiere of TV anime Hanaori-san wa Tensei Shitemo Kenka ga Shitai on July 11, 2026, original creator Hikawa Hekiru has drawn a special crossover illustration bringing together characters from “Hanaori-san” and her earlier work Paniponi.
The newly drawn piece features Hanaori Meetia from “Hanaori-san” alongside Rebecca Miyamoto (Becky) from “Paniponi,” the two characters sharing a warm, friendly moment that transcends the boundary between their respective series.
The anime’s official X (Twitter) account is also running a campaign in which the collab illustration is used on a shikishi art board that fans can win as a prize. Entries are accepted through July 18, 2026.
Story
Hanaori-san wa Tensei Shitemo Kenka ga Shitai is a romantic comedy following Narukami Ryusei — a NEET who was once a Demon Lord in another world — and Hanaori Meetia, a high school girl who was once a Hero in another world. After reuniting with Meetia, Ryusei shakes off his NEET lifestyle and becomes a teacher at an all-girls school — which turns out to be the very school Meetia attends. The series follows the hectic daily lives of the two as they are reunited in a peaceful new world.
