The theatrical film One Piece: Clockwork Island Adventure (「ワンピース ねじまき島の冒険」), based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda, is set to air on TOKYO MX on July 19 at 7:00 p.m.
Originally released in 2001, Clockwork Island Adventure is the second One Piece theatrical film. The story follows Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as they set out to reclaim their beloved ship, the Going Merry, which has been stolen. Their quest takes them to the legendary mechanical island known as Clockwork Island (ねじまき島).
Standing in their way are the Trump Pirates, a crew of Devil Fruit users who rule the island, as well as a pair of mysterious thieving brothers, Borodo and Akisu.
TOKYO MX has now made a tradition of airing One Piece films during the summer season. The channel broadcast One Piece: Straw Hat Chase in the summer of 2024 and the original One Piece theatrical film in the summer of 2025, making this year’s broadcast the third consecutive summer the channel has featured a One Piece movie.
