Mangaka Yon has kicked off a brand-new series titled 今夜、エーテルで待ちあわせ (Konya, Ether de Machiawase) on Seasons, the digital manga platform run by publisher Bungeishunju. The first chapter went live on July 17.
Story
Hикage Itsuki (日景いつき) has spent most of her life alone, and her one true escape is the online game Ether Online (エーテルオンライン). She has played it solo for five years, quietly wondering what it might feel like to share that time with someone else.
Everything changes when she crosses paths with a beginner player called Yoru (よる). The two make a promise to meet inside the game every Monday night — and that simple arrangement sets the whole story in motion.
